Uniform wall thickness distribution makes these flasks ideal for heating applications. Flat base means flasks can be set down without a supporting ring. Flasks with a neck diameter of 65mm have a reinforced rim. DURAN Flasks Flat Bottom Narrow Neck Round form, flat bottom boiling flask made to ISO 1773:1997 (2, 3 & 5 litre sizes are additional to ISO 1773:1997); made from DURAN borosilicate glass 3.3 to ISO 3585:1998; glass class 1 to USP, EP & JP. Tightly controlled glass quality, wall thickness and geometry ensure high resistance to thermal shock giving long service; very resistant to chemical attack. Suitable for direct and indirect heating.
